What is the best base to install my SunLab pool on?

For best results, install your pool on:
– A level, compacted sand base
– With a protective ground sheet under the liner

Avoid installing on:
Concrete, asphalt, wood, grass, clay, gravel, or backfilled soil. Make sure the location is free of rocks, roots, or underground utilities (like septic tanks or gas lines).

How do I maintain my above-ground pool?

Follow this weekly maintenance routine:
– Skim surface debris
– Empty the skimmer and pump baskets
– Brush the walls and vacuum the bottom
– Clean or backwash the filter
– Balance pH, chlorine, and alkalinity
– Shock the water if needed

Consistent care = a long-lasting, clean pool!

What type of water treatment should I use?

To keep water clear and safe:
– Keep pH between 7.2–7.6
– Use chlorine, bromine, or active oxygen
– Run your filtration system at least 8 hours a day to ensure two complete water turnovers, depending on pool size and pump capacity.
– Brush and vacuum regularly

How do I winterize my SunLab pool?

When temperatures fall below 10°C, follow these steps:
– Balance water chemistry and check for leaks
– Vacuum the bottom
– Lower water level 15–50 cm below the return
– Disconnect plumbing and leave valves open
– Add antifreeze (if needed in the main drain pipe)
– Use a leaf cover (remove it before freezing weather)

This keeps your pool protected over the winter.

Can I repair a liner without draining the pool?

Yes! Minor punctures can be patched using a liner repair kit, available at most pool stores. Many kits work underwater, so draining isn’t necessary.
